Agents and additives are the special chemicals which change the attributes of the polymer in wide various methods.

The agents could change the color, impact tolerance environmental resistance same as chemical corrosion or physical UV light protection. they could come to action during the processing or rule the post processes. some could change the apparent attributes same as glossy or mate , some make it soft or rough surface, make polymer anti-adhesion of water hydrophobic  or vise-versa the  bounding /coupling /adhesive agents. some catalyst the polymer chain reaction and some initiate it and some prevent it !
