Oxidized Polyethylene Wax has special properties such as low viscosity, high softening point and good hardness, non-toxic, good thermal stability, low volatility at high temperature, excellent dispersion of fillers and pigments, lubrication with strong internal lubricative effect. It also has the coupling effect, which can improve the production efficiency of plastic processing and reduce the production cost and has good compatibility with polyolefin resins and so on.
The Ultra-low molecular weight of Polyethylene is called PE waxes which are typically used as additives to modify properties of compounds in a wide variety of applications.
PE wax has a large variety of uses and applications. It is available from on-purpose production, as a byproduct of polyethylene production, and PE WAX could produced by molecular cracking of PE, too.
